FonEntry – online booking and access control
An online booking and access control platform for gyms, co-working spaces, events and other bookable services.
Scope and implementation
At Borer Data Systems Ltd., I designed and developed FonEntry, an automated access control and management system for gyms and fitness facilities. The system integrated physical access hardware, smart-card and biometric readers, and custom software logic.
How the system works
The sections below describe the product’s capabilities; my own contributions are outlined above.
A confirmed booking provides an eTicket and access credentials valid for the booking period. On arrival, the user presents the eTicket or uses the mobile app with the entrance tablet. The system checks the credentials in the cloud and authorises entry through the door controller.
Administration
Each partner has a page for bookable services and subscriptions, with online payments. The dashboard supports membership records, bookings, payments, refunds, staff permissions and reporting.
